Day 1
Getting to the island is an adventure all on its own! The trip from the airport to your hotel takes about an hour. Personally, I opted for the hotel's private airport transfer to keep things completely stress-free.
But I am not saying DIY will cause you so much stress! If you want to save some cash and navigate it yourself, it is actually pretty straightforward. Here is exactly how to do it right outside the Caticlan airport:
・Hop on a tricycle from the airport to the jetty port.
・Pay the necessary fees (environmental, port, boat fare) at the port and take a quick boat ride over to Boracay Island.
TIP: You can check Boracay iPass to skip paying at the port.
・Grab another tricycle or land transfer from the port straight to your hotel.

I had a quick breakfast-lunch-snack because paraw sailing was at the top of my itinerary today! Luckily, I was able to book this activity even on short notice. It definitely pays to keep good local connections on the island.

Golden skies, calm waves, and the wind carrying us into sunset. ⛵Parawsailing in Boracay gave me one of those moments you wish could last forever. Truly a top-tier island experience.
